LVR Soccer Club
Founded in 1969, Laurelhurst-View Ridge-Ravenna (LVR) Soccer Club's mission is to support Seattle youth soccer through inclusive and comprehensive recreational programs.
LVR is the officially sanctioned organization charged with providing recreational soccer to children ages 5-18 in northeast Seattle. We are a proud member of the
Seattle Youth Soccer Association (SYSA), which is part of
Washington Youth Soccer and
U.S. Youth Soccer. In fall 2022, over 1,500 kids played LVR Soccer making LVR one of the largest rec soccer clubs in Washington State.
LVR is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization administered by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. We rely on volunteers to help with all aspects of the program, including coaching.
As part of the Seattle Youth Soccer Association, LVR's designated boundary is defined as the area north of the Ship Canal bridge to NE 85th Street and from I-5 east to Lake Washington. Refer to the SYSA website for a
map & boundaries of the other SYSA clubs.
The goal of these boundaries is to best manage the size of the clubs and the resources (fields) available across the city. Families are encouraged to register their kids in the club where they live, but there is no requirement to do so. We recognize that the school boundaries do not perfectly align with the club boundaries.
