Club Colors

LVR's club color is sapphire blue and black.

Jerseys (Uniforms)

Uniforms are issued to all new players at the start of the Fall season.  U6 Player Academy players are provided with a blue jersey that is theirs to wear for the duration of the program.  U7-U9 House League players are provided with a House League jersey with the LVR logo.  Each team has a different color of the same style of jersey.  U10+ City League players are provided with a blue LVR jersey with a number.  City League players also receive a blue training shirt.

Jerseys are typically kept by the players after the season and may be worn the following Spring Soccer season if the team participates.  Typically, teams in the U10  and older City League receive new jerseys every other year.  However, in 2021 all players were provided with new jerseys and we expect to provide new jerseys in 2022 as we upgrade our the jersey style for the City League teams.

Players are to provide their own shorts and soccer socks.  The preferred color for shorts and socks are black, although any color is fine.

Shin Guards

All players are required to to provide their own shin guards, soccer shoes, and shorts. Please note that referees will check that each player has acceptable equipment prior to the start of each game. Shin guards should be worn under socks.

Shin guards can be either the pull-on/stirrup-style or the insert style, but they must have a hard, molded shell protecting the shin. Stirrup-style shin guards often include molded shells that protect the ankles as well.

Soccer shoes (or Cleats)

Soccer shoes should have plastic "bladed" or "molded" cleats appropriate for playing on grass, dirt and outdoor turf.   Players are not required to purchase soccer shoes to participate.  Indoor shoes are less effective on the outdoor surfaces that most kids play on in Seattle.  Turf shoes or cleats for "hard surface" and/or with a lower profile cleat work fine too. 

Fan Wear, Sponsorships and Representing LVR 

As a recreational soccer program, LVR does not have any sponsors and we do not offer Fan Wear.  We are as old-school as it gets - and we like it that way.

All teams are required to wear the LVR-provided jerseys.  In the past, some parents have purchased their teams special matching soccer socks to enhance the uniform.   Teams are not permitted to wear other jerseys (i.e. all USA national team replica jerseys).
